About Us- Our All-Natural Journey

 

T&B Luxe was founded by Tabitha and Benjamin Moore in Norristown, PA. With an extensive family history of various cancers, the Moore family embarked on a journey to provide better health and nutrition for their family of 7, through the arts of permaculture. 

Over the years, they’ve planted 50+ trees, bushes, and vines, harvesting cherries, apples, peaches, pears, persimmons, pomegranate, kiwi, grapes, nectarines, pluerry, apricots, plums, blueberries, blackberries, raspberries, currants and more.

They’ve harvested their own spices including rosemary, basil, thyme, oregano, dill, and sage as well as annual vegetables including tomatoes, peppers, eggplant, zucchini, squash, broccoli, cucumber, and more.

The Moore Family raises their own stock, including chickens, quail, and angora rabbits.

Their practices include seed-saving, canning, whole ingredients, and local sourcing.

After mastering self-sustainable nutrition, the Moore Family turned their attention to the external skincare products they were bringing into their home and the effects these products had on their family. Understanding how the skin absorbs toxins from products applied externally, the Moore Family realized that what you put ON your body is just as important as what you put IN your body.

They began developing soaps, deodorants, and body creams with the following principles:

  • No Chemicals
  •  No Preservatives
  •  No Artificial Colorants
  •  No Parabens
  •  No Fragrance Oils
  •  No Aluminum
  •  No Sulfates
  •  No Impurities

At the start of their mission, the Moore Family found the miraculous benefits of Tallow.

They found local farmers with pasture-raised stock to source beef suet and developed a unique method to hand-render and hand-purify the tallow in their home (unlike competitors that purchase tallow in bulk).  The Moore family renders and purifies tallow using Mediterranean Sea Salt in small batches through their proprietary method (as opposed to common methods that use iodine salt, baking soda, and other non-complimentary ingredients).

These methods became the basis for all products developed, to provide Nutrition from the Outside In.

The Moore Family also found benefits in other key ingredients, including:

  • Raw Local Honey
  •  Raw Coconut Oil
  •  Steam Distilled Essentials Oils (as opposed to most products that use fragrance oils)
  •  Raw Mango Butter
  •  Raw Shae Butter

The Moore Family created small batch formulas for deodorant, skin cream, and soap that they used in their home, and began to share with extended family. After seeing the positive response, they began to share their products with friends and associates who began to rave about the products. They learned that not only were the products effective, but that they were having a real impact on various skin problems.

Friends reported an end to dandruff, psoriasis, eczema, diaper rash, hemorrhoids, acne, rosacea, itching, chronic and seasonal dryness, tattoo healing, razor burn, and irritation.

What started as an interest to heal, care, and provide for their family quickly extended to a community effort – and thus T&B Luxe was born.

T&B Luxe aims to provide an alternative to store-bought products with small-batch, hand-crafted solutions that use only the finest natural ingredients. T&B Luxe aims to educate the community about the value and benefits of natural self-care.
